The iPod is a much better choice in that case. Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique binhenvaart that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano.
The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not marifpnie game machine. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice. This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace.

This is a prerequisite for the work with the other documents, e. Casting is the production process for the future because the pouring of liquid metal into a mold gives the designer the shortest possible route from the starting material to the final product. At the same time it offers the highest degree of freedom in modifying designs and choosing materials.
Casting has developed from a form of art to a high tech production process. In recent decades extensive work has led to an ever more complete understanding of this process.
Today you have access to a broad body of knowledge, covering the influence of various parameters on casting and solidification processes. This has resulted in the development of modern simulation software. Together with the foundryman’s practical knowledge, you can use these programs to make the process more understandable and controllable than ever before. MAGMASOFT is a tool for the foundry industry that helps quickly and efficiently to test a wide range of improvement options and variations regarding their effectiveness.
Highly demanding casting trials, which are expensive, time consuming and cause delays in production, are minimized or avoided altogether.
Potential problems can be recognized and removed in the design phase already. This allows the foundryman to optimize the casting? Expensive reject castings are avoided, and the quality of the finished product is guaranteed from the very beginning of production.
The most important objectives are the reduction of costs and the reliable production of the wanted quality. The entire casting process from the filling of the melt into the mold up to solidification and subsequent feeding is available as a sound physical calculation model for all casting methods and materials. You can easily change the casting geometry casting, position of the feeders, cores, etc.
All functions that are required are available to the user. It can be integrated into an existing EDP environment. There is an interface for importing already existing geometry data. It can be combined with other programs, e.
It has been especially developed for use in the foundry. You can quickly and reliably model your casting system, making it available for calculations. A wide range of modeling functions allows you to create complex casting geometries.
Furthermore, it facilitates accurate magmasott and subsequent modification of CAD data via the interface provided? Using numerical simulation, the filling and solidification processes within your casting system are calculated. You as the user magmasogt the objective of the calculation.
The filling of the melt may be your focus of interest, but you can also concentrate on the simulation of the cooling and solidification of the melt in the mold. The calculation of permanent mold processes with magmzsoft cycles and the corresponding heating and cooling processes is also possible. The graphical presentation of results on the screen is the third essential feature.
The following may help you use the program on your way to magmasofg optimized product or procedure: Whilst the simulation is very efficient, it is nevertheless only one partner on your way to an optimized solution.
You have to make a decision that is based on the results of the simulation. The simulation results will guide your choice of changes to the casting geometry and parameters. With these alterations tutlrial start the next simulation, thus proceeding towards your goal.
Therefore we encourage you to use intensively the possibilities of variation that? Even if this ends in producing some less ap? Selecting menus, menu entries or buttons Ch. In this case you have to move the mouse pointer on the corresponding button and press the left mouse button. You do not have to make your own specifications. There are different kinds of buttons: In most cases you perform the corresponding function by clicking once on the button. However, there are also toggle buttons, which include several options for a function.
You have to click on these buttons repeatedly to activate the option you want example: Grey little square boxes, which will turn to yellow if marked. You can activate and deactivate particular functions conveniently with these boxes. If you choose a yellow box again, it will turn to gray. This indicates that the function activated before is deactivated again. Little square boxes labeled with a ‘D’. The letter ‘D’ here stands for ‘Default’. If you mark a box of this kind, the program automatically chooses the default value for the function connected with this box.
If you move the mouse pointer on a menu bar entry and press the left mouse button, submenus or menu entries appear,? If you want to cancel your input and leave the menu without? You always have to select the ‘ok’ button or the corresponding menu entry with the mouse. Entering data into input fields using the keyboard. Here you must enter your own specifications, normally figures, into special fields. These magmsaoft are of a different color than the remaining part of the window.

However, you should know the manual not only in parts, but work through it completely, as mentioned above. Here you find answers to those questions that are immediately connected to the use of the software.
If, for example, you wish to know how to add a cylindrical feeder to your casting geometry or wish to view magmsoft results of your simulation from all angles, you will find the corresponding information in this manual. As the manual is rather voluminous, it is divided into two parts books.
It is equipped with a detailed index Part two, Ch. Project tutoriap Modeling of the geometry Mesh generation Part one, Ch. Please work in detail through this manual completely and carefully. Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Community, and in particular Articles 47 255 and 95 thereof. Harmonisation of the laws of the Member States on copyright and related rights contributes to the achievement of these objectives.
This requires, inter alia, the existence of dirsctive internal market for new products and services. Important Community legislation to ensure such a regulatory framework is already in place or its adoption is well under way. Copyright and related rights play an important role in this context as they protect and stimulate the development and marketing of new products and services and the creation and exploitation of their creative content.
This will safeguard employment and encourage new job creation. While no new concepts for the protection of intellectual property are needed, the current law on copyright and related rights should be adapted and supplemented to respond adequately to economic realities such as new forms of exploitation. The impact of such legislative differences and uncertainties will become more significant with the further development of the information society, which has already greatly increased transborder exploitation of intellectual property.
This development will and should further increase. Significant legal differences and uncertainties in protection may hinder economies of scale for new products and services containing copyright and related rights.
To that end, those national provisions on copyright and related rights which vary considerably directjve one Member State to another or which cause legal uncertainties hindering the smooth functioning of the internal market and the proper development of the information society in Europe should be adjusted, and inconsistent national responses to the technological developments should be avoided, whilst differences not adversely affecting the functioning of the internal market need not be removed or prevented.
Their protection helps to ensure the maintenance and development of creativity in the interests of authors, performers, producers, consumers, culture, imfosoc and the public at large.
Intellectual property has therefore been recognised as an integral part of property. The investment required to produce products such as phonograms, films or multimedia products, and services such as “on-demand” services, is considerable.
Adequate legal protection of intellectual property rights dirwctive necessary in order to guarantee the availability of such a reward and provide the opportunity for satisfactory returns on this investment.
Article of the Treaty requires the Community to take cultural aspects into account in its action. Those Treaties update the international protection for copyright and related rights significantly, not least with regard to the so-called “digital agenda”, and improve the means to fight piracy world-wide.
The Community and a majority of Member States have already signed the Treaties and the process of making arrangements for the ratification of the Treaties by the Community and the Member States is under way.
This Directive also serves to implement a number of the new international obligations. This Directive should be implemented within a timescale similar to that for the implementation of the Directive on electronic commerce, since that Directive provides a harmonised framework of principles and provisions relevant inter alia to important parts of this Directive.
This Directive is without prejudice to provisions relating to liability in that Directive. Such moral rights remain outside the scope of this Directive. The provisions of this Directive should be without inrosoc to the provisions of those Directives, unless otherwise provided in this Directive. This should be done in conformity with the acquis communautaire.
A broad definition of these acts is needed to ensure legal certainty within the internal market. This right should be understood in a broad sense covering all communication to the public not present at the place where the communication originates.
Article 2 – Reproduction right
This right should cover any such transmission or retransmission of a work to the public by wire or wireless means, including broadcasting. This right should not cover any other acts.
It should be made clear that all rightholders recognised by this Directive should have an exclusive right to make available to the public copyright works or any other subject-matter by way of interactive on-demand transmissions.
Such interactive on-demand transmissions are characterised by the fact that members of the public may access them from a place and at a time individually chosen by them. The first sale in the Community of the original of a work or copies thereof by the rightholder or with his consent exhausts the right to control resale of that object in the Community. This right should not be exhausted in respect of the original or of copies thereof sold by the rightholder or with his consent outside the Community.
The distribution right provided for in this Directive is without prejudice to the provisions relating to the rental and lending rights contained in Chapter I of that Directive. This also applies with regard to a material copy of a work or other subject-matter made by a user of such a service with the consent of the rightholder. Therefore, the same applies to rental and lending of the original and copies of works or other subject-matter which are services by nature.
Unlike CD-ROM or CD-I, where the intellectual property is incorporated in a material medium, namely an item of goods, every on-line service is in fact an act which should be subject to authorisation where the copyright or related right so provides. The existing exceptions and limitations to the rights as set out by the Member States have to be reassessed in the light of the new electronic environment.
Existing differences in the exceptions and limitations to certain restricted acts have direct negative effects on the functioning of the internal market of copyright and related rights.
Such differences could well become more pronounced in view of the further development of transborder exploitation of works and cross-border activities.
In order to ensure the proper functioning of the internal market, such exceptions and limitations should be defined more harmoniously.
The degree of their harmonisation should be based on their impact on the smooth functioning of the internal market. Some exceptions or limitations only apply to the reproduction right, where appropriate.
This list takes due account of the different legal traditions in Member States, while, direcfive the same time, aiming to ensure a functioning internal market. Cirective States should arrive at a coherent application of these exceptions and limitations, which will be assessed when reviewing implementing legislation in the future.
The acts of reproduction concerned should have no separate economic value on their own. To the extent that they meet these conditions, directvie exception should include acts which enable browsing as well as acts of caching to take place, including those which enable transmission systems to function efficiently, provided that the intermediary does not modify the information and does not interfere with the lawful use of technology, widely recognised and used by industry, to obtain data on the use of the information.
A use should be considered lawful where dlrective is authorised directuve the rightholder or not restricted by law. When determining the form, detailed arrangements and possible level of such fair compensation, account should be taken of the particular circumstances of each case. When evaluating these circumstances, a valuable criterion would be the possible harm to the rightholders resulting from the act in question.
In cases where rightholders have already received payment in some other form, for instance as part of a licence fee, no specific diretive separate payment may be due. The level of fair compensation should take full account of the degree of use of technological protection measures referred to in this Directive.
In certain situations where the prejudice to the rightholder would be minimal, no obligation for payment may arise. Member States should be allowed to provide for an direcive or limitation in respect of reprography. This may include the introduction or continuation of remuneration schemes to compensate for the prejudice to rightholders.
Although differences between those remuneration schemes affect the functioning of the internal market, those differences, with respect to analogue private reproduction, should not have a significant impact on the development of the difective society. Digital private copying is likely to be more widespread and have a greater economic impact.
Due account should therefore be taken of the differences between digital and analogue private copying and a distinction should be made in certain respects between them. Such exceptions or limitations should not inhibit the use of technological measures or their enforcement against circumvention. However, this should be limited to certain special cases covered by the reproduction right.
Such an exception or limitation should not cover uses made in the context of on-line delivery of protected works or other subject-matter. Therefore, specific contracts or licences should be promoted which, without creating imbalances, favour such establishments and the disseminative purposes they serve.
The organisational structure and the means of funding of the establishment concerned are not the decisive factors in this respect.
Such exceptions and limitations may not be applied in a way which prejudices the legitimate interests of the rightholder or which conflicts with the normal exploitation of his work or other subject-matter. The provision of such exceptions or limitations by Member States should, in particular, duly reflect the increased economic impact that such exceptions or limitations may infooc in the context of the new electronic environment. Therefore, the scope of certain exceptions or limitations may infosox to be even more limited when it comes to certain new uses of copyright works and other ditective.
The Commission, in cooperation with didective Member States within the Contact Committee, should undertake a study to consider new legal ways of settling disputes concerning copyright and related rights.
The danger, however, exists that illegal activities might be carried out in order to enable or facilitate the circumvention of the technical protection provided by these measures. In order to avoid fragmented legal approaches that could potentially hinder the functioning of the internal market, there is a need to provide for harmonised legal protection against circumvention of effective technological measures and against provision of devices and products or services to this effect.
Such legal protection implies no obligation to design devices, products, components or services to correspond to technological measures, so long as such device, product, component or service does not otherwise fall under the prohibition of Article 6.
Such legal protection should respect proportionality and should not prohibit those devices or activities which have a commercially significant purpose or use other than to circumvent the technical protection. In particular, this protection should not hinder research into cryptography.
In particular, it should not apply to the protection of technological measures used in connection with computer programs, which is exclusively addressed in that Directive.
The InfoSoc Directive Ten Years After – Kluwer Copyright Blog
Articles 5 and 6 of that Directive exclusively determine exceptions to the exclusive rights applicable to computer programs. Member States should promote voluntary measures taken by rightholders, including the conclusion and implementation of agreements between rightholders and other parties concerned, to accommodate achieving the objectives of certain exceptions or limitations provided for in national law in accordance with this Directive.
In the absence of such voluntary measures or agreements within a reasonable period of time, Member States should take appropriate measures to ensure that rightholders provide beneficiaries of such exceptions or limitations with appropriate means of benefiting from them, by modifying an implemented technological measure or by other means. However, in order to prevent abuse of such measures taken by rightholders, including within the framework of agreements, or taken by a Member State, any technological measures applied in implementation of such measures should enjoy legal protection.
If, within a reasonable period of time, no such voluntary measures to make reproduction for private use possible have been taken, Member States may take measures to enable beneficiaries of the exception or limitation concerned to benefit from it. Voluntary measures taken by rightholders, including agreements between rightholders and other parties concerned, as well as measures taken by Member States, do not prevent rightholders from using technological measures which are consistent with the exceptions or limitations on private copying in national law in accordance with Article 5 2 btaking account of the condition of fair compensation under that provision and the possible differentiation between various conditions of use in accordance with Article 5 5such as controlling the number of reproductions.
In order to prevent abuse of such measures, any technological measures applied in their implementation should enjoy legal protection. Where such services are governed by contractual arrangements, the first and second subparagraphs of Article 6 4 should not apply.
Non-interactive forms of online use should remain subject to those provisions. In an increasingly networked environment, differences between technological measures could lead to an incompatibility of systems within the Community.
Compatibility and interoperability of the different systems should be encouraged. It would be highly desirable to encourage the development of global systems. Rightholders should be encouraged to use markings indicating, in addition to the information referred to above, inter alia their authorisation when putting works or other subject-matter on networks. In order to avoid fragmented legal approaches that could potentially hinder the functioning of the internal market, there is a need to provide for harmonised legal protection against any of these activities.
, IP case law of the CJEU
They should take directie the measures necessary to ensure that those sanctions and remedies are applied. In many cases such intermediaries are best placed to bring such infringing activities to an end.
Therefore, without prejudice to any other sanctions and remedies available, rightholders should have the possibility of applying for an injunction against an intermediary who carries a third party’s infringement of a protected work or other subject-matter in a network.
This possibility should be available even where the acts carried out by the intermediary are exempted under Article 5. The conditions and modalities relating to such injunctions should be left to the national law of the Member States. This Directive concerns the legal protection of copyright and related rights in the framework of the internal market, with particular emphasis on the information society.
Except in the cases referred to in Article 11, this Directive shall leave intact and shall in no way affect existing Community provisions relating to:. Member States shall provide for the exclusive right to authorise or prohibit the making available to the public, by wire or wireless means, in such a way that members of the public may access them from a place and at a time individually chosen by them:. The rights referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 shall not be exhausted by any act of communication to the public or making available to the public as set out in this Article.

Telugu literature or Telugu Sahityam Telugu: It consists of poems, novels, short stories, dramas and puranas. Telugu literature can be traced back to the early 10th century period Prabandha Ratnavali talk about the existence of Jain Telugu literature during AD followed by 11th century period when Mahabharata was first translated to Telugu from Sanskrit by Nannaya.
It flourished under the rule of the Vijayanagara Empire, where Telugu was one of the empire’s official languages.
Telugu split from Proto-Dravidian between BC. Telugu became a distinct language by the time any literary activity began to appear in the Tamil land, along with Parji, Kolami, Nayaki and Gadaba languages. Among these are the prologues to their poems, which followed the Sanskrit model by customarily giving a brief description of the writer, a history It is not easy to trace out the origins of the Telugu folk literature, for that matter any folk literature.
It is as difficult as to decide the origin of any language. In other words, one can argue that the origin and existence of any folk literature can be a parallel phenomenon along with that language. Because the folk expressive traditions of any ethnic group are much earlier than the language of that particular ethnic group.
Need not say about the developed literature in kaghalu tradition. The cave paintings, line drawings found in different archeological sites prove the ability of the creative expressions of prehistoric human beings even before they were not able to speak. The addition of verbal creativity in latter periods has widened the folk expressive tradition in another medium that is verbal folk arts or the folk literature.
Therefore, the existence of any folk literature can go back to the time of the given language correspondingly. A Theory of Everything: Brings together for the 1st time the mystical writings of the world’s great physicists – all of whom express a deep belief that physics and mysticism are somehow fraternal twins. Written in non-technical language. Detalhes do produto Formato: Revised teoriq de abril de Vendido por: Compartilhe seus pensamentos com outros clientes. This is etoria collection of essays by these men, with brief editing and an introduction by Ken Wilber.
Wilber culls the writings of these great minds to uncover their opinions, and discovers that they are virtually unanimous in the opinion that modern science can offer no support for mysticism in any variety. And yet they are all mystics of one sort or another!
They simply do not believe modern physics can fully describe the universe we live in. Science is not yet in contact with ultimate reality, Jeans insists, and this is no surprise.
Any meaning that the universe as a whole may have, would entirely transcend our terrestrial experience and so be totally unintelligible to us. Fascinating book which starts a bit slow after a great introduction and builds from there. Interesting read, but don’t expect any amazing revelations of true spiritual conversion by any of these scientists.
Begins to lift the veil to expose the underlying mysteries of reality, but it is merely an appetizer. The truth is more profound and well beyond what we humans could ever conceive! The disciplines of science will never admit to anything that is not causative, regardless of any evidence pointing to something beyond their ken.
Any study of modern physics will reveal how modern theories are often the craftsmanship of high-level mathematical slight-of-hand and poetic license that strives to make said theories fit new evidence. While these people are brilliant, they are also extremely stubborn and unwilling to part with long-held, mainstream dogma. Someday, they will face undeniable truth, and yet, they will still not believe.
Worth teotia read for its interesting exploration of the thoughts of some very intelligent people, but again, do not expect anything amounting to a paradigm change in “scientific” thought. American philosopher Ken Wilber has done a great service by bringing together in a single volume excerpts from the tido writings of the world’s greatest physicists. These are the intellectual giants who gave us teoriw twin pillars of modern physics, relativity theory and quantum mechanics, upon which all of contemporary science rests.
Given the popular view that they must have been atheists it is astonishing to learn that all of them were quite explicit in expressing the need for a ee outlook extending beyond the physical world. Wilber as editor has not pulled a few paragraphs out of context. Erwin Schroedinger for example writes of “the mystic vision”, De Broglie writes that “the mechanism demands a mysticism”, and Wolfgang Pauli speaks of “embracing the rational and the mystical.
The popular religions of today Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, etc. They all make specific statements – some empirically testable, many others not – about people and events in the physical world and how these related to God, or Allah, wipber All That Is, tuvo some similar term.
Mysticism on the other hand is not a religion but a path to understanding. It has ce to do with religious creeds or doctrines, or whether or not there is a personal God, and certainly nothing to do with science which is something else entirely.
Mystics simply believe on the basis of personal experience that there is likely to exist another level or levels of consciousness beyond that of the five senses.
Through rigorous mental practice they believe that it is possible to access wisdom and insight from that level which represents the highest or ultimate reality. Individual mystics may personally identify with one religion or another but the practice of mysticism as a path is found in all the major religions and is, in and of itself, areligious. This point is unfortunately muddied in Wilber’s otherwise quite interesting introduction where he equates religion with spirituality p.
One can be deeply spiritual without committing to any specific set of religious doctrines.
The key argument of such books is less that physics “proves” Taoism or Buddhism or some other form of Eastern esoteric thought but rather that seemingly bizarre and unbelievable statements about the nature of space and umz and reality made by practitioners of these traditions appear to be supported by the findings of modern physics.
Zukav, “Wu Li Masters”, p. For the last hundred years or so science and religion have declared a truce in their war for the allegiance of the mind of Man. Science would to stick to matters of the physical world while religion would stick to matters of the world beyond the senses.
However as much as both sides, including Ken Wilber, would like to keep it that way, wilbr march of scientific knowledge takes us ever forward toward a teoeia view that challenges our most basic assumptions about the nature of human reality. I am speaking here specifically of entanglement, the now widely accepted principle in physics that particles really do influence each other without regard to distance or time, that is, they interact instantaneously even if they are separated by billions of light years.
This was scientifically demonstrated in wiber, the year before Quantum Questions was originally released, and has ds confirmed repeatedly since then. Even more disconcerting are recent experiments which seem to imply that actions in the present as we perceive it can actually alter events that have already been recorded in the past.
The Greatest Mystery in Physics”, However troubling such findings may be to our everyday conception of ‘reality’, they merely confirm Max Plank’s famous statement that “those who are not shocked when they first come across quantum theory cannot possibly have understood it. Will they lead to a total paradigm shift in our conception of reality?
The deeper significance of this book is that it shows all scientists and those who someday will be scientists that being a mystic ua okay.
